Plot: The comic 'Bluntman and Chronic' is based on real-life stoners Jay and Silent Bob, so when they get no profit from a big-screen adaptation they set out to wreck the movie.

My rating: 8/10

Will I watch it again? Yes.

I love this movie and it surprisingly never gets old although it's been 8 years or better since I last saw it.  This time one thing struck me that I hadn't noticed before.  The pacing.  It's a fast-movie movie and there's an awful lot of funny packed in between the credits.  Having a shitload of cameos helps but it really moves at a fast clip. Enough can't be said about how easily Mewes fits in the role of Jay.  Between he and Smith, they've created a memorable and incredibly funny character.  He's juvenile in a way that you just don't see in movies.  He's funny, vulgar and self-serving but he's endearing.  This picture relies on your knowledge of Smith's previous film so it's a good idea to catch up on all of them if you want the full effect.  The 2-disc DVD set has a metric shit ton of extras but none of them are included on any of the bare bones Blu-rays.  I'll wait for a respectable Blu-ray release before upgrading...you know, gotta have them dick & fart jokes in 1080p.
